Even if characters with mysterious scars are somewhat common on fictionpress, as you said, the way you've handled it is different (in a good way). You weren't afraid to maim him (usually it seems scars are just there for tragic backstory, but never really interfere with normal life), and his personality is more complex. You write very well and your proper usage of grammar makes me very happy! Thank you for sharing this story, and I hope to read more!

But since you mentioned it in your profile, I wanted to review at least once for you (: I first started reading Blind Yourself a while ago, because I'm a big xanthofile fan and I always see the credits towards you as a beta. A--and now I've started, I'm addicted :U So I read the entirety of Blind Yourself, along with this story...and I absolutely love the way that both stories are awesome, as well as unique from each other...with interesting and creative premises for both. SO KUDOS ON THAT because it's uh hard to come by anymore ): I also love the interestingness to your characters...__ Arthur and Jesse make me want to draw them so much, haha. So, um, yes. I love you and you should update...sometime, at least, definitely. 8D ♥!

Vera Dicere 2008-05-29 ch 7,	abusei'm intrigued! i had wondered if maybe tara was uneasy about matt coming because she and roy are together...although, at this point we've only got matt's assumption to work from. even though he's kind of antisocial and bitchy, i totally love matt. and his sexual tension with jesse is fantastic- definitely looking forward to wherever that's headed. :)
