eyes-of-a-hawk 2007-05-11 ch 1,	abuseWell, this is a good start. It seemed to me that you forgot a lot of commas and some other punctuation, but besides that, it was pretty good! The only complaint I have is the way you portrayed the Dutch regiments. I'm 100% Dutch myself, and I only hope that you were simply taking artistic license. :) ~eyes~ PS: Thanks for pointing out the date error in my story. The July date was in my mind, but I accidentally typed June instead. :) And it's really cool that you're a Civil War reenactor! I happen to be going to one next weekend, and I can't wait. It sounds like so much fun!

Starox200 2007-04-04 ch 1,	abuseNice...I love American History only as much as i do nineteenth century England. ^_^ Ok your story was great for several reasons: You painted such a well detailed portrait of the scenes that it was almost like watching 'Glory' again (great movie by the way if you haven't seen it. :D), your languages was so well suited to the time that i could hear them talking, slang straight from that time - even though i didn't get one - give it even more verisimilitude and i enjoyed the comedy with Major Edward. Are these real people or your own characters, by the way? Yes, well i loved the chapter. Now there were some typos but i knew what you meant everytime so you needn't worry about them until you want to. ^_^ Ok there was a part, the one where he was describing how he killed the other Englishman, that i can't get over. He says the guy refused to pay him right? So why would he call him 'good hearted'? I'd call him the oppositebut for the story i suggest you don't call him anything. Yeah that was the one thing. The rest was awesome and i hope to see more updates. Cheers! Starox. (^_^)
