Aha! I knew that character was familiar! I heard illusionist, white hair, and Ghost Walker, and I was like "holy hell, what deja vu!" Anyway, back to the story...

heh i thought this was going to be some long story of girl is a knight, saves the princess, they fall in love and said knight would storm the castle and they live happily ever after, the end.

ya know, Shrek.

...But after i got into it the story took way more twists and turns than how someone with an idea like this would.

There's the ocassional error or phrase that makes me grit my teeth, but this is an excellent story and i hope to read more...*clicks on profile*

Aw! That was one *wonderful* story!! :D

Every now and then I come across some amateur fiction like this that's so amazing that it makes me feel like it's worthwhile to trudge through all the other crap to find it... thanks a lot! :o Just kidding. Really though, brilliant story. I loved it so much. It actually reminded me of a cross between the Canterbury Tales and a really long book called The Deed of Paksenarrion (another fantasy story about a female warrior - it's great.. well, it was when I was 14 and read it lol). Anyway, of course the Dragon-Knight-Princess thing is so cliche, but this put enough new (and humorous) spins on the template that it had me grinning frequently. Aside from it being perhaps a tad bit too short, and probably unpublishable due to the romantic pairing (yay, go bigotry), it was easily as good as fantasy books I've picked up off the shelf.

Oh, and I *loved* the last chapter. Putting the credits in italics interspersed with the comic ending (movie style) was pure brilliance - I've never seen anyone else do that with writing.

I really loved this story, it was funny, clever and very well written.

I realize this story is old and probably forgotten, but I felt I should review regardless. This was a lovely story with well-defined characters, although a few events were predictable or somewhat cliche. However, I think the characterization more than made up for those instances. I enjoyed reading this story, and I look forward to reading more of your work.

possibly the best story i have ever read. it went at just the right pace, with the transition from the surly black knight to Zorana. 11/10, i say! i've read all of your work now, and you'll be pleased to know that i stayed up till 3 in the morning reading this, i was so enthralled.
