I like it! Just one little nit-pick, and you can totally ignore this, but perhaps 'medusas' should be 'gorgons'. medusa was one of 3 gorgons. (too much greek mythology...)
Aside from that, I like the imagery you create in this piece and I can relate all-too-well to the emotions. :)
