| Definition 2007-06-15 ch 1, | abuseBeautifully written...! The beginning made me smile - it was cute and slightly humorous :) "I thought god was a ten-year-old boy and the universe lived in a fish tank in his bedroom...) I have to fav. this. XD. Amazing job, as always. |
| Ashelin 2007-05-19 ch 1, | abuseWow, that was kind of intense. It seems so innocent and naive, but it is so much deeper than that. No offesnse, but you were a strange little girl. An awesome one though, very creative. Great job! I adored this, though I am a Christian. Keep writing! |
| Needa S 2007-05-06 ch 1, | abuseOne will never believe in God until they feel Him in their heart. I know this to be true for I met Him the day I accepted His son Jesus Christ as my Savior. Back to your piece...Great job putting this together. Keep writing. |
| Anna178 2007-04-22 ch 1, | abuseOkay, so I came to thank you for a review you gave me and was blown away by this. It's always a really big compliment when you get a review from someone whose stuff you like. Well...I'm sort of a rambling type, don't often make a lot of sense, and am horrible at reviews so try and bear with me here. In short, belief in anything is always a topic that intrigues me. I love how you portrayed this. From the fishbowel to the colors you mentioned. Everything, it all fit into place. I don't know, it just really had an affect on me so good work. ANNA |
| hey maria 2007-04-20 ch 1, | abuseI like this poem, especially the question you ask in this. But the idea of a "normal" God being shapeless and all-powerful, and a "normal" heaven being white and cloudy, that all depends on what you were raised on, and even then there's variations.. Like, with Hinduism, there are people who believe in many gods, and some believe in only one god who takes many forms, and then there are Hindus who don't believe in any god. And I know Christians who believe heaven's in the sky, and others who believe it doesn't have a physical location, it only exists on a spiritual plane. And until the age of ten, I thought heaven was a forest. So yeah, even in one religion, there's different ideas of what's normal. I don't think everyone who wasn't raised on that specific idea of God/heaven is missing out. To put it simply, your beliefs (or lack of) aren't wrong, not to me. |
| All Alone With Her Thoughts 2007-04-15 ch 1, | abuseHm. Intresting question. I used to believe in God when I was a little kid. That changed. Thanks for the reviews! Rowan. |
| HipSafeDeadGrunge 2007-04-14 ch 1, | abuseI use to believe that God was an old man in a blue robe and that all dogs went to heaven, ha ha. I thought he had fruit up there and he was chilling out with some fat old lady. Lol. And I never even went to church. Now I'm Catholic Buddhist and the rule book says: Act like a moron. Everybody will know. |
| pepsi-fiend007 2007-04-14 ch 1, | abuseThe beginning of this poem made me smile, that is such a fun and brilliant idea. The end makes ya think. I like it quite a bit. |
| doxology 2007-04-13 ch 1, | abuseI like this. I myself used to believe in the 'normal god' but now I believe that God is more of a state of mind or a feeling and that heaven doesn't exsist anywhere but on earth and that there is no hell and there shouldn't be. (except for we occasionally run into that on earth don't we) Jesus, I always have to make things about me somehow. Sorry about that. Back to the review. I think you cleary said what you wanted to say in few words and it was beautiful. Peace and Love ~> Lifted |
| burn our city 2007-04-13 ch 1, | abuseGood poem. Sad, but kind of cute. I like it, though. Good job and keep writing. |
