It's a nice rendition of an old theme. I like how it's simple, concise and yet manages to be descriptive as well. Good work :)

I love your description...for e.g.: "Before her was an old woman, her smoked and dappled hair was scraped back into a tight, meticulous bun."

This is a nice little story. I like ghost stories, and this one proves not all ghosts are evil :)

I love how this is written, there was minor grammer mistakes, but non that I'm sure you wouldn't catch if you ran through it one more time.
