 antigonelives 2007-04-17 . chapter 1I can really relate to this; not only is this well written (ten points for clean grammar!), you accurately conveyed the loneliness and, of course, the newfound freedom out of breaking up with someone... and the fact that a lover would hold you to his standards while you can't have any. Blegh, men. My ex had *no* expectations. At all. When I was fifteen and probably pregnant, he told me he'd push me down the stairs just in case. Peachy, eh? But he did get ten points for nearly pulling a Rhett Butler.
Since this is turning into a laughable angstfest, I will shut up now. Great poem, was the point. |
