We are too young, but I don't think there's an age to ever be ready for that. Your poem sums up what I've been thinking about too.

While I was watching the story on the news, this specialist said that parents should tell their children that tradegies like that are so rare and kids shouldn't worry about it but how can it be rare if there are more and more cases of school shottings now?
