abuseI must say, your description is some of the best I've ever seen on this site. It sort of reminds me of Greek mythology in a way, but profiles as an introduction shouldn't be necessary. Not that I can really complain. Well, it's still a wonderful story.

abuseOmg... I honestly just cried. I thought that she would die, since the beginning where the 'tragedy' was announced, but I thought that since Jing's mom died, she'd get off the hook... guess not. It's so sad! *sobs* beautifully written, but so sad...

abuseWow... I don't know what to say... That was awesome! I love it! But... *sniffle* It makes my writing skills seem at a first grade level. Oh well! I'll get over it! I love it! Bravo for coming up with such an intricate plot and characters!

abuseExcellent ending! ;) The whole thing with Ice and Water and Air was an interesting bit, you have officially inspired me. Hope you don't mind. XD This whole story was very well written and engrossing, I certainly look forward to reading the next book. ;)

abuseOnce again a wonderful ending to a great chapter. The only critic I can come up with is to look this over very carefully when you edit - there are little mistakes here and there. Anyway, it seems the journey will begin soon, eh? One more chapter left, I look forward to reading it. ;)

abuseWell, looks like the two leapords aren't very nice, are they? Thieves, huh...perhaps they'll warm up to Neola and the others on the long journey which lays ahead of them? I like Ng'ala, as I love cheetahs. Only two more chapters for me to go...I look forward to them. ;)

abuseAnother sad chapter...and Riku appears once again. This young Heart Thorn is really making me wonder...I am intrigued with him. I am also interested in what happens next, and how Neola accepts her destiny, and what comes as a result. Seems I'm almost done with this story. ;)

abuseT.T Very emotional, very sad, and very...powerful. I honestly hadn't expected the Queen the die, but I suppose I should have guessed she would - I'm sorry she did, I liked her. A wonderful chapter, I look forward to the next...

abuseWell, I must say Riku interests me, and I hope to learn more of him in the future...anyway, I liked the ending of this chapter, it was very...powerful. However, I would suggest you read over your chapters carefully - there were some missing words in here. 'Her ears were rotated back and his whiskers were pushed forward, indicating that she was dangerous.' ...Don't you mean, 'her' whiskers?

Keep it up! XD

abuseWow. That's some cliff-hanger you've got there. >_< Were those things Neodarkness? What will happen now? Where did they take Neola? I loved the description in this chapter, you're very good at this. I simply must read on to find out what happens next! XD

abuseOh, wow... That would just be the first reaction, after one chapter. It's the writing like this that makes me view my own writing as rather mediocre, to be quite honest.
On the basis of only having read one chapter (so far, anyways. I shall read the rest at some point, possibly today or tomorrow.) this most definitely reminds me of the Warriors series, due to the whole cats thing, but Warriors... The main difference is that this is not about realistic housecat-type felines, rather, large, mythic sorts. And when you pick up Warriors, it doesn't take a lot of focus to really understand what's going on, yet you feel the intensity of what you're reading- from the first page you can tell, 'Oh, this is for younger teenagers.'
Your piece, on the other hand, while just as intense, requires more focus if you really want to keep track and understand what's going on. The reaction here, in my opinion, would be more of... 'I guess a younger teen could read this, if they wanted to. Seems more geared toward the older ones though.' And that's definitely a good thing!
Let's see... I'm really a fan of the fact that you made your characters felines- humans are far overrated. All of my own work- the fantasy anyway, not the realistic things- tend to have humans as the main characters, and they have companions- more often than not, wolves, dragons, or wildcats.
I adored your descriptions of the Council cats, and how you could easily tell who would side with who is particular situations. You gave their colors easily, without breaking/cutting into the flow of the story by making it its own sentence, like a lot of writers do- an example being something like, 'She was pretty. Her eyes were light blue. Her hair was long, blonde, and straight.' Something like that just doesn't work.
The only thing I didn't especially like here is the way Anei speaks, but that's only because I'm obsessive about perfect grammar, and all, so it doesn't really count.

All in all, if you couldn't tell- I loved it! I normally do love the things that make me feel mediocre, which is kind of weird, you know?

abuseI liked this chapter - especially the fight scenes. It was very descriptive, but I think it was just perfect. I must admit I'm relieved - I had almost suspected Shuyang would have turned to the darkness. Anyway, I have to ask - is there going to be any romance in this? I always like romance in stories, so I have to question about that. ;)

Oh, yes, typo, I think: "The warrior landed on swiftly his paws..." 'The warrior landed swiftly on his paws...' I think you meant. ^^

abuseYes, Neola, Rikka. ;) Guess our little princess has just revieved quite a shock...I didn't know she didn't know about Rikka. Guess I have to pay more attention, heh. Anyway, another great chapter...I liked how you did the hunting scenes...the title of the next chapter worries me...can't wait to read it! ;)

Oh yeah, and thanks again for checking out my story...I'm glad you liked it...I look forward to your future comments. ;)

abuseI can understand Neola's uncertainty, and her reluctance about all this. Anyway, I think the mysterious figure in the beginning was the Demon Queen, or at least one of the Despair's. Well done, I can't wait to see what happens next! ;)
