I think is more of the lyrics to a song than a poem, but I loved it. Nice figurative language, and the words peeked my interest as I kept reading. I like how in the beginning you tried a syllable pattern and that melted away as the poem progressed. Regardless the poem still was good. Here is a tip though: If you start with syllable pattern end with syllable pattern.
