The last lines were sadly sweet. I understand the feeling you have [except I'm a girl]. "Paper covers rock" I don't know why, but when I read that line it made me think about when our hearts break, we try to defend ourselves by becoming cold and not really loving people. Using people. Like when the paper is torn away nothing is left but rock. Yeah, it was weird. But your poem was wonderful! Great job!
