and on a somewhat unrelated topic, i did get the allusion to tam lin! it was a cute story. i guess he didn't get what he thought his fairy tale ending was though...

I saw this one coming though. I started mouthing 'schizophrenia' after the two first paragraphs, but it doesn't take away the thrill I felt when Deidre asked the kid to strangle his mom. And that he actually did it...!

Although eight years old is too young an age for a schizophreniac. Usually the first signs come around mid-to-late adolescence (at the earliest) and they're sometimes drug-induced.

You so changed the title from when I read it the first time :P
