Miranda 2009-10-11 . chapter 196 Great job, keep up the good work. You do a great job of character development. Update soon! |
FallenWindRider 2009-09-17 . chapter 196I feel honoured that you dedicated this to me. I myself thought this was fast after I reviewed. I hated Ariel at first but he grew on me and his story almost made me cry. He just didn't know what to do so he ran from his problems... sounds like his god. I am hoping he still continues on with them till the end. Livi just needs to stop knowing the future and just give in to the present. The past is what keeps you warm when he dies.
Thank you for updating! |
FallenWindRider 2009-09-17 . chapter 195Hello! I found this story about a month ago and I tore through it but scatterbrained me forgot to leave a review at the end! This might be a long one, so much to say.
First I would really like to say I adore Devonmire. It seems truly sculpted by the gods in how each section was created for a purpose.
By far the first book was my absolute favourite, I loved the perspective of the gods and how it really did suck having all that power. My favourite chapter was when Aislin was born when the gods were all there in the spiritworld. I was greatly dissappointed not to see more of them so far.
I enjoyed how you were able to personify the gods within the people they left, both the positive and the negative traits unfortunately for Etimur.
You didn't kill Math!! I adored that little doll and I was happy to see him back. Hot Sauce loves Stop~! xD
I would like to thank you for your efforts in posting this story regardless of the fact that your chapters outnumber reviews... a fact that disturbed me more than I would care to admit.
I look forward to the next instalment and the rest to follow! |
 D0ll 2009-09-07 . chapter 1 Effective summary! Cheers |
 wilko4523 2009-09-04 . chapter 85hi
as you keep on asking for reviews on the bottom of your chapters and I thought despite the fact that I do not usually review decided I would just to make sure that you do continue. Athough obviously your threat to stop did not come to pass at this point did not come to pass but you havent updated for a while so either youve finished or your just a slow updater?
anyway I love this story so far I really get into the characters alot and I really want to find out whats going to happen!
But just quickly one or two criticisms-I find Roun abit to innocent obviously he has a mind of 17 year old and spends most of his time is spent in seclusion or with young hildren but I think there are some moments when I think this guy sounds well gay quite frankly-If you read some of the gay fiction stuff on this site then sometimes he acts alot like a gay character. Also it took me a couple of chapters to fully work out what was going on in the start of book 1-it takes you a while to clarify how fmuch time has passed especially as the prologue is from 5years later.
BUt other wise I love this story asnd there are some really good characters tbh I have a secret love of Monarch lmao mainly because you dont have many chilled ut/flirty/evilesque kind of girls and blushing isnt really my thing lol
Anyway keep writiong

Madcat1030 2009-08-01 . chapter 194 I think Ince makes a fine hero. To me, this story seems to be part bildungsroman. It seems that, despite his general quietness, the others subconsciously defer to him when it comes to plans or the lack-there-of. Hope to read more soon. |
Hiiro-Mizutani 2009-06-15 . chapter 1that summary you use is excellent it's what made me read this good work. |
aferdeity 2009-05-04 . chapter 193I saw that one coming. I cannot wait to read more. |
Glitza 2009-05-01 . chapter 44Okay, that was the worse chapter in this entire book. No, the chapter was good and interesting, but what happened was horrible. Horrible. I feel like crying. That's how bad it was. I can't believe what happened to Trapezial, and now Illiberra. I'm guessing that was the bad guy. Now I understand why trapezial didnt respond. that was so sad. It made me forget about tye's death. No! Is that the being that wants to join with Ruon. Ugh. This is horrible. You dont know how upset I am for Trapezial and Illibera's sakes. Aww poor them. At first I was smiling at some of the things Illibera said as he searched for Trapezial, then I was filled with dread when he read the letter. Then I was hopeful again when Illibera heard Trap's voice but that hope didnt last long. So bad. So bad. I have nothing else to say except I tentatively open the next chapter. Oh no. What else bad will happen. |
Glitza 2009-05-01 . chapter 41It just keeps getting crazier and crazier. I dont know what to think now. Etrmur beat Roun up! I can't believe he would do such a thing, but the surprises keep coming. Wow. I understand he was angry and maybe he felt a little betrayed but did he have to beat him up like that. And Dhasop just watched...
So much is going on. First Leco is sneaking around doing things that seem evil, yet the other brothers dont suspect anything. Then Illibera goes off to see Trapezial without telling Roun, and I can't imagine why. The three people try to take Roun again and they are working for some immortal who wants to join with Roun to become whole. And now Etrmur attacks Roun. So much is happening that I don't have a chance to react except with bulging eyes. But that's good. It keeps the story extremely interesting and I'm not bored for a minute. I'm loving it and I wish it was longer. Oh well. I'm happy that Etrmur starts to cry after he beats his little brother to a bloody, toothless pulp. :) At least it shows a little remourse and other emotions. He's a very complicated character. I like complicated. Lecoharazon has me irritated. I cant tell what he's thinking. Argh!
My heads spinning from all the action.
But I'm loving every minute of it. |
Glitza 2009-05-01 . chapter 36And my disgust with Lecoharazon deepens.
I'm sad that lydia was burnt so badly but happy that she is recovering.
The scene where Ruon and Dahl were talking and Ruon began to get jeolous made me laugh. I'm happy that Lydia doesnt like Dahl. That would be horrible if she did, even though Dahl seems like an okay guy. But we like Ruon way better!
Aww, that was sweet. Ruon and Lydia's first night together.
But then comes Lecoharazon. I still can't believe Lecoharazon is doing that, and I am confused about what Leco actually is trying to do. Lydia should have told Ruon about what she had seen.
But these chapters keep getting better and better. They're great! |
Glitza 2009-05-01 . chapter 34Poor lydia. She just lost her house and everything in it. I hope she's okay.
I cant believe that the villagers reacted like that. I know they were distraught over the deaths of those children, but god! Did they have to torch her house? I'm so disgusted with the villagers at this moment.
I'm also very disgusted with Lecoharazon right now. How can he pretend that he nothing has happened? And he does it so cooly too. ARGH! Very disgusted with him.
Hope Lydia wasnt burned too badly. |
Glitza 2009-05-01 . chapter 33I can't believe what just happened. Oh my god! How could Lecoharazon? Why would he do such a thing? What?! I'm just so shocked right now. My jaw is hanging open. I hardly no much about Lecoharazon but I cant believe he would do that to his own brother. Lydia was brave to follow him, but i'm scared for her and ruon now. I cant believe that just happened. I was already scared when I saw the title was "A Brother's Black Betrayal," but I never imagined it would be this bad. ARGH! I'm scared to read on but i have to find out what happens. I hope this ends all right, though I can't see how that's possible. |
Glitza 2009-05-01 . chapter 31These chapters were nice. I feel bad for Dhasop. I didnt know healing someone would affect him like that. But I laughed when Ruon pretended to trip so that he could talk to Lydia without Lecoharazon watching. That was funny, and Lecoharazon knew exactly what Ruon was trying to do too, but he didnt say anything. Heehee! But poor Lydia. Why wouldnt anyone want to marry a seamstress? Are seamstresses supposed to be too poor? I still want to know what exactly Etrmur and the others are fighting against but I guess I'll have to wait... |
Glitza 2009-05-01 . chapter 28This chapter began funny when Roun was showing Tye how he had cut potatoes, but then it got kind of sad. When Tye cut his palms and shared the blood, I thought that Tye was evil and was doing something bad. I'm still not sure why he had to do the blood thing. Hm...it sounds kind of suspicious. I didnt know that the attack bothered Ruon so much. But then again, it was kind of scary. I'm happy that Trapesial talked to him, even if it was only one sentence, but it's messed up that Tye left Ruon. I dont know why he did! He shouldnt have gone. |
