I didn't particularly like the rhyme scheme. AABB...there's something so inevitably mother goose about it. But your rhymes were very good and clever; the subject is pretty universal and well-stated. In the second-to-last line, instead of saying "I'm", to say "I am" would sound better for the rhythm (and contractions aren't typical in formal writing except where necessary in poetry for the sake of rhythm). It's very good and concise. Nicely done.
