ch 1,  | abuseThis speaks of a larger question of humanity well. Do we truly need another to complete ourselves, or are we taught this fable and blindly believe it to be true. I like how this seems focused on a specific relationship, and yet it lends itself to the overall nature of all relationships. Phrases like, "I looked for the man who could fix me, And you came closest of all", help the reader to understand the realization of the speaker at the end that perhaps no one could or should have that ability, but the speaker themselves.
