Hi. I don't recall getting an author alert for this...hm, odd. I like it :). It's true you haven't written in a while, I think it's a shame. You have truly beautiful imagery and a wonderful way of spinning a tale and using words to make them convey great emotion. This is quite unusual for you I think, your poems are often more depictive and tell a clearer story. If this is an effort to keep writing, well please do go on, because I think it's very good, albeit simple, but a nice read and it makes the reader feel the emotion. Take care!
