| kavithaa 2007-06-14 ch 4, | abuseReally, Adrian's actions are becoming more and more unforgivable. I only hope he will make up for it in the future ;). In the most romantic sense, of course. But one thing I'm curious about is about why Edward Barclay is allowing Kathleen, who is undoubtedly a beautiful woman, to go and live (of course, chaperoned) with Adrian in order to be taught on the subject of "how to act" (which I find it quite as ridiculous as Kathleen does). After all, doesn't he want his own daughter to make a match of it with Adrian? Just wondering. |

If my memory serves me, it means that the man is offering the woman a chance to be his mistress and be provided for. |
