It IS a bit melodramatic, but it's also good. It's got a creepy touch, but at the same time it has this dramatic ending that fits. The drama doesn't make it bad, but rather helps. I think you should separate the note from the piece, because they look the same and at first I got confused... Mostly, it's a good piece.
