Aw! Wow, your goldfish lived for eleven years? That's wonderful...and probably even longer than some dogs and cats will live! My beta fish is six years old. This lovely peom makes me realize just how many secrets I've fed him (I hardly ever remember to feed him his flakes).

I love this! I know exactly what you mean about a fish watching you grow up--I know my fish has seen a lot of my moments, I'd be devastated if he died--and you made me realize it, haha. Either way, very well written, very heartbreaking, even about a fish.

I really like this...except for the line "goldfish pornography" that doesn't make sense, it doesn't fit. nicely done.

it reads like a story but flows like a poem. some really great lines in here-- i loved the transition between hair and sexual orientation

The fifth stanza is my favorite, and I really like this poem. Also, the part about the pictures of tropical fish was cute and funny. Good work.

This is absolutely amazing. I remember when my goldfish died and it wasn't half this interesting because he lived in the kitchen.
