Q Cent a realistic trait to this big harsh fairy tale that we all Love so much! \o/ If I were to seek true perfection) I'd admit that E think that Cirion devotion seems to bi is to be realistic (not impossible, but, well) I certainly don't mind about it, but you would maybe waif to explain more of his reasons, his successive feelings, and develop the interaction betided hind. and Kate by the river. Maybe something decisive have happened there that would explain his sudden radical decision. I hoped he would say as well what happened when his Guards destructed Kate's house. How Gramma found all the books back and what he did think when Kate accused him of taking her last book away. Anyway, this story was pure magic. You rotten dream dealer, you! Nyu! Long life to romantic fantasy! :P A sequel? Yay! I can't wait!

I adore fantasy and stories with elves, and yours is such a wonderful story. I wrote a short story for school last year that was kind of like this, except in reverse (the elves were the hated ones). Not that is really important, but whatever. The sequel sounds great. I'm about to go check it out right now. =] Your writing is clear and the voice of your main character was well handled. I have to ask, though...I saw on your profile that you liked Lord of the Rings. Did the part about breathing too loud come from the part in the Fellowship where the elf said that Sam was breathing too loud?

I finished it all within a few hours (really, I should have gone to sleep a while ago, as I have class in... 6 hours, not including the half-hour drive down there.) and felt that it was well off in the beginning, but the ending was very cut off, short, abrupt--not written out to it's fullest ability to be. Another thing you could do is possibly develop Cirion's love for Kat more. It went like, from what I can tell, "Oh, I can trick her into loving me to get information. Hey, want a sec, I love her! Dammit! There goes my fifty buck entry into the bet we had going..." Maybe you should have more interaction with the two of them before she ends up blabbing her life story to him. Then he'd be able to develop a stronger connection to her before he saves her. Other then those problems, very interesting. I'll read the sequel sometime later, after sleep and school. (damn, and I volunteered for the 4-7 time frame between classes so I can't even take a nap tomorrow...)
