| no.peace.los.angeles 2007-05-15 ch 1, | abuseReally incredible piece. I love the use of color in poetry, because it works to symbolize so much, and here it is obviously appropriate. The last stanza of this is just mind-blowing. There's so much going on, and there really should be, because I'm imagining a paint factory (ha, I almost typed "pain," and what a slip that would have been), and the amount of diversity possible there. Wow. At any rate, a beautiful poem. Keep writing! :) |
| Tytherpol 2007-05-13 ch 1, | abusethis is so great. your poems appear to have so much thought behind them, especially with historical and politcal references. i mean, i write a lot about historical events and current events, but i haven't learned yet how to be so specific about it. i always start tying it into today's world also-- most of the time so much to the point where no one can even tell what i mean and what i'm implying-- and it's not as good as it should be. anyway, very good work(s). -sara. |
