| Timeless Asuka 2008-01-25 ch 1, | abuseHehe, I don't live in the US, but I agree. I have nothing against them, because I am Canadian, but I do agree. It's a beautiful written piece, and I also like the AN. All of it is very true. |
| DeLayNee 2007-09-18 ch 1, | abuseId really like rhyming poetry, but I liked this for the opinions it expressed, mostly because I agree. |
| penguinfragger 2007-05-19 ch 1, | abuseBeautiful message! I totally agree with you! The US has been carburating on a war industry since the 40s...first they were fighting nazism, then the extension of communism, and now radical islamism. Is there no end to this crap?! I personally support a movement in little old Switzerland called the GSSA, which aims at the complete and simple abolition of the Swiss army. Now that would be an amazing step forward towards world peace. Anyway I seem to have gotten carried away and forgot to review the actual poem! So here goes: I'm not very good at commenting the form, but the message was perfectly delivered. I really got a sense of the government just plowing straight ahead with no thought of what is going on around them. Sad but true. So it goes. Anyway, to make it short: great stuff. |
| Hidden Sword of Truth 2007-05-18 ch 1, | abuseHey! I did write a lot at the end. I guess I wrote to much too! Well, at lest someone reviewed... thanks... I read some of your stuff too... and it is great... if anyone else reads the reviews please read her stuff too... Oh, yeah! I just wrote anoter piece about this... oh no.. right? | painted.music 2007-05-17 ch 1, | abusekonichiwa This deserves two separate reviews because, in my opinion, it was two separate pieces of writing. The first was obviously the poem. But I also think that A/N you had was its own little piece of creativity and writing, and I think it deserves just as much of a review as the poem. Poem -- It flowed beautifully, the concept was wonderful (which I'll elaborate on when I write my "second" review), and it was just overall meaningful. *thumbs up* A/N: I couldn't agree more with anything I've heard in my entire life. I happen to exaggerate once in a while -- this is not one of those times. What you said was simple and effective. If I weren't already thinking along those lines (and believe, I definitely do), I think you would have had me convinced. As it is, I absolutely HATE racism and being against religions and prejudice and all that crap that some people have just because they're not exactly like everyone else. I don't get what is UP with that! So I'm black. So I'm white. Does it really matter if I've got purple skin and orange hair and eighteen fingers? Okay, admitedly, that might have me a bit worried if someone had that, but I wouldn't HATE the person! I would hate the person if she shoved me into the mud when I was six or if she blackmailed me or something. I wouldn't hate a person because of her skin or religion or something equally trivial. To the people that do harbor any of such emotions or something, all I can say is that I pity them and I admit I'm a bit angry at them (though I hate to generalize). There are a ton a wonderful people out there, and NO -- they don't all have the same color skin or same religion or same country. But if you stick yourself to one specific group of people and say, "I only like them," your missing all these people that you can meet, that you can learn from, that you can respect, etc. It's sad really. Hate just isn't the way to build successful lives. And is that really what they want to be teaching their kids -- to hate people before knowing them? That's such a horrible way to live life! Okay, I'm finished babbling. Feel free to roll your eyes now and say, "That review was ENTIRELY too long!" Go ahead, I don't mind. =P LoL! Zaijen -Shan- |
