I enjoyed this immensely. The portrayal of an earthquake made for a good background to a story.

Oh. My God. That was so beautiful and poignant. And I can't believe you wrote this in Tech Ed...amazing.

Ah, this was heartbreaking! The story moved very fast, and everything was straight to the point. The first-person narrative worked very well and made the story more sympathetic and realistic. That was one horrible earthquake. Anyways, this is a nice job...especially for someone who is supposedly "rusty!"
