Haven't read Timekeeper's Chosen (I'll trade reviews with you on it any time you want, though. ^^) but I really enjoyed this. I don't know if it was the second person point of view or the way everything was in present tense, but unlike a lot of things I've read this one made an impression on me. I'll remember it.

Surprisingly, for me at least, was that even though everything including the flashbacks was in present tense, distinguishing past and present didn't get confusing. Which is usually que raro for me. Rare. V rare.

I like your characters, too. They compliment each other nicely and I'd like to know more about them. ^^

That was really good writing about a really intriguing situation, well written fight-scenes are always good. This was so sad though, the unintentional death and your description of those eyes was so emotive.

My criticism would have been that it was confusing because too much was left to the imagination, but from reading your author's note I believe you intended it to be that way.
