I always seem to become inspired when I clean my closet. maybe it's a poet thing.

"I spy a box of broken dreams" has such a teasing childlike sound to it, but it still slices deep.

you work well with contrast.

Aw. I like the lines "needle & thread" and "& a broken-hearted boy" -- they just stand out the most to me.

I really like this. "The fragments of a puzzle-piece life" is a great line, but it seems a little disconnected from the sewing imagery. Still, this is a good piece.

And it's a nice spontaneous train of thought. I think a lot of people can relate to this. Nice job.
