123454321 2008-03-09 . chapter 1The last line lays open why this piece is such a tragedy. It ties it together, well done.
Your imagery is nice, but a little cliched throughout this piece. From what else I've read of yours, you can do better.

Ellin Louise 2007-08-15 . chapter 1I don't know what view you have on this.. which is a good thing. because poetry shouldn't be about imposing one view on the readers. the story developes amazingly and the last line works as a contrast as well as conclusion. |
i hope you choke on skittles 2007-06-04 . chapter 1Oh God, I think you just broke my heart.
I won't get into my own personal views on abortion (too many memories shape them) but I will tell you that this poem has such strength, such power, I am currently sitting here with tears streaming down my face.
You have taken something that should be so plainugly, and made it uglybeautiful, you have given such power to your words, you have taken a subject that is so often ignored, pushed underneath the rug, hidden away and only whispered about in secret, and you have made it acceptable, and caused me to rethink so many of my own opinions, rethink the beliefs I thought i would always stand by. |
re x invented 2007-06-04 . chapter 1wow. there really are no words. |
saccharine lust aerial 2007-05-25 . chapter 1as far as abortion goes, i'm torn. point one: which life will you want to pursue-- yours or the baby's? point two: what if the person is raped? other than those two questions, i am not fond of abortion. and this blew me away |
Bleached Roses 2007-05-25 . chapter 1The topic is as gruesome as it is taboo in this poetic society. This brought tears to my eyes, at the remembrance of a memory I'd rather not have. (not my own, I'll let you know) The context of this is eerie, and from my perspective, seems to reflect a sort of selfish for the woman. She is at peace with suffering. It's brutal.
