thanks for the review on Pen Key, Paper Door. yeah i don't know what was going on earlier, i couldn't upload my new story until today. so on to your poem: you were right about the edgar allen poe relation but this is so great! the play on murder is absolutely brilliant! the first stanza really sets the tone of the poem and i think what really made me see the whole thing was the line "then faced with the Devil's carrion-knights". spectacular job.

Even if it is your 'least favoured work' it carries the plot well- far from being vague, and equally far from being flowery. It conveys vivid images, tonges being ripped asunder, eyes exploding from the tampering beaks of rooks.

I am fond of the title.

Perhaps I'm a bit twisted, but, either way, it made me laugh- the title, that is.

Do you listen to My Chemical Romance? If not I suggest you do...it would probably give you a lot of inspiration! Nice...
