Neophyte Ronin 2007-06-07 . chapter 1There's a dichotomy in the poem. It seems like it's going back in time almost. The fairies lamented a year ago, and then the sparrows fluttered a week ago, and now just a few moments before, someone else is entering the grave.
It fascinates me deeply.
It can be hard to tell what's going on but I fathom the whole thing deals with being unable to handle loss. And loss comes a second time.
Well, I don't have to say anymore about this. |
DarkBlysse 2007-05-30 . chapter 1Wow. This really is a beautiful poem, especially for one having been translated from Greek. I can't imagine what it's like in its original language. |
Shaitanah 2007-05-28 . chapter 1It's really beautiful. I love the flow of it, so thoughtful and emotional... And yes, I always say your poetry is beautiful - because it always is! |
Bleached Roses 2007-05-28 . chapter 1Beautiful! There's really not enough poetry about faeries on this website...or if there is, I haven't found them. -sighs- The imagery here was gorgeous. Kudos.
~ Much love,
