| Ekhidna 2007-06-13 ch 1, | There is so much wrong here. This poem, though it might the correct number of lines (if you can count SOUL! as a line), is not a sonnet. It lacks the rhyme pattern and the rhythm. Second. Shakespeare did not write stories. He's called a great Bard for a reason. He was a playwrite. His writing, including his sonnets, were meant to be performed. So, he never wrote a story called "adventures in camelot." In fact, I don't he ever wrote about Arthur Penndragon at all. Also, you should read the Fictionpress guidelines. The site itself specifically asks for spell and grammar checking. I quote "there's no reason not to do this." They even offer free word processing software on the front page to help people who need it and you need it. Also, to that hey maria girl below me? It's Romeo and Juliet. By the looks of what you read, ditch this friend. Or, at least help her write. Don't encourage this when effort could make it so much less painful. You won't have to read so much of this and act like you like it. There's no reason to shun the fact that you need to improve. Just try. ~Kyria |
