The punctuation was a bit unusual, but incredibly effective. I've seen this happen before, and it sometimes happens to me, but my best friend always remembers, even if she's the only one who does. I know how wonderful it feels when the first person calls on your birthday to wish you a nice day, so I guess I know how I would feel without anyone wishing me a happy birthday all day, especially my best friend. I think this poem is just awesome the way that it is and that you shouldn't change a thing. |
