If your reader has gone through anything slightly similar, your words incite some of those feelings. If your reader has not gone through anything like it, your words provide a cracked window to what it feels like. It is very pure of heart... you could be angry and tear apart everything about him, but instead you depict what is and how you feel. Way to take the high road!

The line": "Also a black canvas unable To be painted over again" -very visual!

We all need our time to adjust..it is not easy to transition from having someone close to not at all. but stay hopeful. The sun always comes after a rain.
