If this can be interpreted on the topic of Christian theology, then yes, those who have been sinful all their lives will be saved with even just one day, or one hour of genuine reconciliation while they repent. Recall the parable of the lost sheep, or the misplaced coin, or the prodigal son, or even the parable of just wage for a day's work; all the righteous will be rewarded, that's a given, but those who repent will fill the heavens with greater joy.
