It seems more like these short stories have turned into real stories. Hmm. I can't wait for more! Please update soom! And whatever happened to Virgil and the "Paul"? I just wanna know the background on that story. But not as much as the fantasy stories. Anyway, I can't wait for your next update!

AH *rolls around* I just keep getting more and more drawn into your unique and wonderful worlds. At first I wasnt quite certain about this one but as I read on I grew to love the idea of human like dogs. Again you offer up likable characters. Its just a shame I have to see their stories come to an end. Ah well *goes on to read more* I SHOULD BE SLEEPING YOU KNOW!

I'm glad to finally know what puppies are, but sad for poor Heinz' dashed hopes. I think Emil will rectify the situation, right?

As I started to read this, I felt really foolish because I finally realized "skin as black as night" is just what Heinz calls his new "owner." Apparently, I'm very slow. Hmm, what does Emil know about Heniz that Heinz doesn't know?

I like the humor in this one, or rather the story with Einn in it.

"He tried to ignore the impulse to bite her." Adorable

So confused. Is Heinz a dog or a human or some non-human amalgam of alien life? I'll just have to keep reading to find out. :)
I'm sure the "skin as black as night" refrain had a purpose, but unfortunately, it just went totally over my head.
Excellent job depicting Heinz' hesitancy and belief that he is undesirable while still carrying some hope for reprieve, "Heinz let the blanket slip away as he cautiously climbed from his bed."
Also, "No one had touched Heinz in a very long time." oh, that made me ache for him - so sad.

Marvelously well-written. "Course, god cursing their kind anyway, he figures what their relationship is would be considered odd to anyone else." - One of the little aspects here I love the most is the slight underlying religious tone, mostly with Emmett. Even given the way society (and supposedly religion) slanders their "kind," they live a decent life, take in orphans, and they say grace at the table. That is an extraordinary thing to bring into a fictionpress slash story, and I thank you for it.

Absolutely adorable, as ever, especially from Virgil's perspective. The George Washington moment was a silly and rather fantastic one. Very well crafted.

"And just like that, Emmett's made the decision for them," that line does a great job of summing up their relationship. Moving out West may not be what Jack wants to do, but ultimately he's going to go where Emmett goes because Emmett and their relationship is more important.
I think in the summary you wrote that all of the stories may not be about the same characters, but I hope we get to read more about Jack, Emmett and Virgil.

*happy sigh* I had to come over here and read it again. I can't wait to see more of Heinz or anything in this universe. Or the last one. Or a new one. I'm easy. ^_^
