So, I just wanted you to know that this is one of my favorite one-shots ever! I have read a lot of the junk that makes it's way onto the web, and this little thing always manages to brighten my day.

Can I double favorite this? I absolutely loved it. Not only because I love quotes and I'm a complete bookworm (and you just successfully broadened my library _) but I loved the entire plot and your characters. You're a wonderful author.

I think I read this a long time ago, but I don't know why it hasn't gotten more reviews! It's such a good story. The whole time I read this I was thinking of it taking place in my high school. It's weird because I graduated five years ago and I never really liked going there. But if someone like Jake had gone there, it would have been more bearable. And Abe is one of a kind. What else is there to say? I loved it.

I loved the plot development, Abe's attitude, Jack's way of wooing her, the way the story went, how amazing it was. I loved how you put it as one huge one-shot cuz i would have died if i had to wait for chapters to come out. I LOVE this. I know I sound hecka weird. I like your writing style. I don't think I saw any errors or typos and stuff.

I love how quirky and cute Elizabeth is. She's differnet. You must really like books. You make a lot of reference to classical literature, and smart books and stuff :P (excuse my simple language. im not as smart as Jack or Abe) Also you used a lot of sweet quotes. I love those quotes.

You seem to know a lot. You're probably either really smart with a thirst for knowledge of did a lot of research for this story. You used a lot of advanced vocabulary too. :)

Also I got inspired. I like the post-it idea. I will probably do that because I can't express my emotions either. Even before your story I would always write letters when I couldn't express my emotion. I love how she used all the quotes and stuff. Anyways I just loved your writing. I would probably go on and on about how much i loved your story and use all 10 characters i can for this review but hopefully you got my point on how much I liked this story.

This could very well be the cutest, fluffiest, most amazing one-shot I've ever read. And I've read a lot of one-shots.

I'm liking this really, really well. I like how there are other tidbits about the other characters as well so it's not too focused on the two main ones. I like Maverick. But maybe you could've developed Abe liking him more? Like... more than them slowly tolerating each other..? But anyways. it's all cool. :)

Oh my gosh...Jack and Abe are so romantic. I think the love stories where two people fall madly in love with each other at first sight are overrated. I love these stories where the guy is so romantic in his pursuit of the lady...and that last quote...gosh...it made my heart skip a beat. Geez, I must stop reading stories about perfect men. They make me set my standards way too high.

And honestly that's the first thing that comes to mind, exclamation point and all. Now, normally, I don't read oneshots. I tend to think that there just isn't enough meat to them. I can't get attached to the characters, I can't get involved in the storyline, and I can't bring myself to invest my energy in reading one.

None of that holds true in this case. I loved your characters; they're quirky and fun. Abe especially is full of her own little odditites, but they were endearing rather than annoying, which I often find is a hard line to straddle. And I found Jack utterly adorable.

I love the quotes! I'm not sure if I can stress that enough. I added most of them to a little quote sheet I've got going, because I just found them that awesome. And they weren't out of place, rather they felt very appropriate (which makes sense since they were such a pivotal part of the story).

So overall, I can't really think of anything to say critique wise. You have yourself a wonderful little story here. Congratulations and good luck in SKOW.

I think I read this for the first time two years ago, and it's still, to this day, my favorite thing on fictionpress. Hands down. I love everything about this story. (I hesitate to call it a oneshot because, although technically it is, it feels so much more than that.) I love the characters, I love the dialogue, I love, love, LOVE all the quotes used, specifically the Neruda one because I adore Neruda and had never read that poem and now it's my favorite, and I love how all of the pieces cohesively fit together. And most of all I love how I go back and re-read this every once in awhile and I still read every word and love every minute of it.

But I wasn't sure if I actually ever reviewed, so I thought I should really do that sometime.

That was adorable. ADORABLE. I now have the urge to go out and buy multiple packs of brightly-coloured post-its and spam the locker of .. somebody. Hahaha. Amazing work. :). And splendidly impeccable grammar. :D. My heart fuzzes!

Okay, I know this is from years ago, but it doesn't even matter. I thoroughly enjoyed the witticism and kept having random chuckling fits, which got me no ends of strange looks, let me tell you. The banter reminded me a lot of how I was in high school, and sometimes even now. Just thought I'd share. :)

Oh, I myself love reading (obviously), but I must admit that I draw many of my own sporadic quotes from movies. Anywho... Ta-ta.

I absolutely loved this. Very few stories actually make me laugh out loud, but this one succeeded. It was splendid. :)
