I like this, but it might be because I'm a sucker for anything revolving around the idea of being static. I'm also a sucker for slightly spasmodic rhyme schemes. Sometimes people abuse the use of repetition, but your repetition of "a static tragedy" and "same" didn't get annoying. Overall, this is a good piece.

I love the repetition and the ocasional rhymes. It really adds to the effect.
