Usually, I am predisposed NOT to be attracted to vampires simply because of the cliche. You have very merrily shot that predisposition to hell by un-cliche-ifying her.

This is one of the best treatments of a usually-cliche situation that I've ever read. You make the first-person voice believeable and flow well, and somehow still manage to include vivid imagery, which is no easy feat. Thank you very much and I'll look forewards to more of it!

WOW! Please continue! I look forward to reading more chapters in this, and soon. The writing is amazing. It flows just about perfectly. There was no disruption in any spots, and the chapter ends always leave the reader sadly BEGGING for more. The characters are also written out well. They have a good balance of what a normal person would have in them, so they seem realistic enough. They're easy for the reader to get attached to. Well, there's my two bits. Keep going!
