Hannible 2008-01-14 . chapter 8 Ha! The old school excuse again is it? Me too. Haven't had much of a break 'till x-mas. There is a new Redwall out. Have you seen it? And yes, intriguing. I am liking this story very much. Keep it up. P.S. How is everyone? |
Arabella Smith 2007-12-15 . chapter 8So good! I like it alot! Please write another chapter soon! |
 Saroo 2007-11-08 . chapter 6Um, I mean "SOON". lol. |
 Saroo 2007-11-07 . chapter 7UPDATE, SON!
It's getting really good. |
 Brackynn 2007-11-02 . chapter 7Cassandra is such a darling. Love her :)
And things are just getter stranger and stranger. Lazarus is starting to weird me out. And Marius is just ... *shakes head and shrugs* I don't know what to think about him. Hopefully all will be revealed soon!
(There were a couple of instances in this chapter, though, where I think you might have made a few types -- where you meant to write 'he' instead of 'she'. So you might just want to check that over.)
But please don't keep us hanging for so long again! (Though I can totally sympathise with school taking over ;)) |
Arabella Smith 2007-11-01 . chapter 7So, so, so good! Please write more soon! I've been waiting so long to read! Lol. very good! |
 Georgiana 2007-11-01 . chapter 7=D
You're back!
Although it was a long absence, I must say - that for this spectacular chapter - it was worth the wait.
You have completely stolen by breath away. This was marvelous!
All hats off to you.
I love every word you've written. You have a great writing style, enticing the reader and introducing him to your exotic and magical world.
I love this era, and you have portrayed it in a beautiful way!
I can't wait to find out more about the spy, Lazarus, Yosefu, and Marius. You said you'd tell us about the kicking in the next chapter and I hope that it is not too far around the corner. Although it might be worth the wait, I'd rather be around to read it, and if you keep me on my toes for much longer I might just die of suspense.
Yup... So just update will ya'?
Toodleoo,
much love and respect,
Georgiana=D |
Brackynn 2007-08-24 . chapter 6Wow, too many questions! What is up with Lazarus? (Any deeper meaning to the name? ;) )
I don't really have much to say except you're doing a fantastic job with this story, I'm hooked, and so I'm putting it on my alerts. Looking forward to the update! |
Brackynn 2007-08-24 . chapter 5Hmm ... interesting. Holes in the walls don't tend to be there for no reason, right? ;)
I'm liking this story more and more as I get into it -- new conflicts seem to be popping up all over the place, and it'll be interesting to see how they all tie together in the future.
There was one part, however, that confused me a bit ... or I might just have misunderstood. When Kabira's thinking about Jerusalem and Yosefu, she thinks, "How could she describe to anyone, let alone an adolescent girl, what she felt there?" But I thought Hadria was only six?
Anyway, here's hoping that we'll learn a bit more about the spy (and about Marius -- creepy as he is, he intrigues me) soon! |
Georgiana 2007-08-24 . chapter 6Wow! I think this must be your best chapter yet! I REALLY liked it. I'm so curious! Who the hell (please excuse my language) is Lazarus? And how does he know Kabira? I mean, he must have seen her before if he recognized her features, right? And what does he want with her? What happened to him, causing him to be emaciated, beaten and filthy? Also, why was Cassandra and her servants so kind as to bring Lazarus to see Kabira, I thought they would have killed him. Maybe his terrible state and crazy screaming caused the kindness? Or maybe they were just curious as to what he wanted with Kabira, the hated "Persian"...? And there's also the question of why was Roxio in her dream. Is he the spy or the savior? So many questions! But that is a good thing. I SO want to know what is going to happen. I really think adding these new characters (Maximus- the light...ehh, lighter; Plutonius- he seems as arrogant and disagreeable as his master; and Lazarus- the most mysterious of them all) really spiced up this story, and to quote you, "struck life into it." I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT WAIT for the next chapter. You have taken me by storm:D:P |
Brackynn 2007-08-24 . chapter 4Oh, wow ... I have no idea who the spy might be ... if he's a boy, Roxio comes to mind, but I didn't even think that we might have already met him until you mentioned it. Way to keep me intrigued ;)
And Adrius and Cassandra's little children are too cute! Especially Hadria. Kabira as a bird, indeed :)
And seriously, kudos to you for doing your research. I've always felt that historical accuracy makes a story so much richer and more credible. Well done! |
Brackynn 2007-08-24 . chapter 3Okay, Marius creeps me out. Civil or not, he's just ... creepy. I don't doubt he's going to see Kabira again, but I'm kind of nervous as to what his intentions are ...
I really like Cassandra, as well, taking care of Kabira like that :)
Nice chapter -- really good job! |
Georgiana 2007-08-23 . chapter 5I really liked this story:) I can't wait to find out more about Kabira, and I'm also curious about Marius and his advances. I think you have a nice description of the Roman era, and even though there might be a couple mistakes here and there, it didn't really bother me. I also really liked the title. Swan Song... I wonder if Kabira's singing has anything to do with it? I noticed it'd been a while since you updated, so I hope you'll update soon. This will be on my Story Alert list, so once again, update SOON!:) |
Arabella Smith 2007-08-16 . chapter 4I think the spy is..
