| simpleplan13 2008-03-09 ch 1, | I really love the alliteration in this piece.. "preening pecked" "lacking luster" "empathetic efflorescence" and the word choices are absolutely wonderful as well.. I also love the first line of the last stanza.. really awesome piece PS If your bored check out the Review Game and its Review Marathon (links in my profile) |
| Zigeunerin 2007-07-11 ch 1, | All right...hier geht nichts... Well, at least I knew what to expect as I clicked the link to your newest poem. That way I could actually read it without shaking my head in disdain. I did end up shaking my head (it's just inevitable with your poetry), but at least it was delayed until the last two lines. Quite a feat! You ought to be proud of it! But don't think I hated it. I've come to a point where I can now appreciate your poetry and criticize it for what it is rather than for what I want it to be. The first three lines of the second stanza were brilliant. The last line was...so Aelux of you. I'm not sure if this inconsistency is meant to be a deliberate transition or just a mistake. But, at the beginning of the poem, you talk about "I walk on the precipice of delusion in awe of my clarity". Then, towards the end, "The lyrics of my heart--dyslexia". So things are clear and yet confusing? If that was deliberate, and if you were trying to say something by it, then I think you ought to rewrite the middle stanza (although it is my favorite) so that it puts the two together. You did the stupid semicolon thing again. But didn't you say you couldn't help that? blame your computer. It still irks me. |
| Duzzie 2007-07-08 ch 1, | Wow. It was wonderful and so very well written. I love the format and structure of words and all that is touched upon in them. It's musical and emotional, and above all, it's beautiful. I have found absolutely nothing that I don't like about it, and so am sorry (but not) to say I've got no constructive critisism for you. Really, this was a wonderful read. Favorite Stanza: 1st Favorite Line: "I walk on the precipice of delusion in awe of my clarity;" I really, really like that. |
