I enjoyed this poem for its honesty. When I read it, I felt most intensely the dilemma you were going through. Just curious, but do you really feel that before you accepted the Lord, you were stuck in a sort of prison? Because to you, it may have been enlightening. But do good memories only emphasise the bad past?

this is very very good. I like that you refer to the walls around your heart as a prison, and how the rain is sort of symbol for your strife and greif.
