tastethekiss 2007-07-13 ch 2,	abuseI'll be honest-- I wasn't keen on starting a new story. It's this thing about change. I'm not great with it. All I could think as I clicked on it was, "But what about Avery? And Jack? I don't want a new story yet!" However, now that I'm reading this, I'm glad that I did start. I think the plot line is very interesting, and I like the fact that there is a history behind everything. Shane, for instance. We all know that there's something up with him, but the question is... what is it? And this FCA. It sounds pretty intense, and I really like that. The training was crazy (and I loved Maya's resistance) and the description of the agency is almost creepy. I can't imagine working in that. I hope we'll come to find out why Maya was so crucial. The alleyway is a bit fuzzy and confuzzled, which I think fits perfectly, considering Maya/Lorraine's state of fear and then, ya know, getting shot. Maybe someday someone will explain to her just what went on, just who was chasing her, why they died. Then again, knowing the type of agency the FCA is, maybe not. And Maya... is she just known as Maya? No last name? Has everyone been stripped of their identities there? Have people been born into work with the FCA? How much freedom does Maya actually have? Can she have a relationship? Will a relationship distract her from her work? A lot of these questions might be answered in upcoming chapters, but this is just what my brain is saying to me as I read. It's quite an interesting story you have going, and I can't wait for more.
