a typo: "Two figures--tough they both wear long cloaks"

I started laughing at the woman reproaching the man for de-cloaking (ha ha ha, star trek pun) and him being all, "What?"

I also kind of like him resting his head on her lap. It's tender, like they're family - lovers or siblings or something.

What a very... strange... story. I would ask explanation, but I feel that I know something of your mind, and this, I imagine, is a one-time thing. I feel a bit like you are similar to me, insofar as I often write random things when I can't get inspired for my big projects, and most of what I have up on this site consists of that. They have vague premises behind them, but since I'm never clear on the details myself, I don't include much explanation, and so end up with something cryptic and odd, such as this. HOWEVER, I like the way you write, so I'm willing to tolerate the tale ending just as it was getting interesting.

By the way, if you're anything like me, you're going to be beside yourself with happiness when you see all these reviews I've left. I like to think that's the case. It's so nice to make people happy.

Also, I would have finished Fleur de Sang, but on chapter 4 the site freaked out, and would only display two paragraphs of the chapter, thus keeping me from reading to the end (grr). FYI.

Now I'm just rambling. I'll stop.

Well, this story has a nice creepy beginning to it to say the least. I do like creepy, mind you. So, I will look forward to seeing another chapter. I can't make much in the way of comments until I see where you go with this.
