I like the meaning behind it, but the vocabulary used is too simple to me. Maybe it's just a pet peeve of mine, but I really hate seeing all those empty spaces for no apparent reason. If you want to know how to get rid of them just PM me. It's really simple. I also thought that rhyming this would make it more powerful. This is such an important lesson, but this particular poem didn't have enough emphasis on the words to bring it home. It was a nice effort, it just needs some work.

You're absolutely right. I sometimes get so lost worrying about the future or lamenting the past that I forget the miracle of existing as a self-aware being who is capable of doing either. Well done.
