Samurai Poet 2007-07-14 . chapter 1 I like the last line of this poem. It makes me think back to my Stony Memoirs poem... ah but this review is about your particular piece of work. It tells me things I've heard often... and it is true. Although there are lighter sides to this thing we call life, there could and should be more good. We can all do better... what with all the crime, racism, and complete malice, ambition and greed. Yes... Bush could have done better dealing with the matters of the war in Iraq, as well as the eternal war here. I could do a better job staying focused on what I need to do. I could do a better job having a social life, but life is simply what we choose to do with it. It's just with all the stress I face in trying to stay successful, going to college, and publishing my stories, it's easier for me to see the darker side of life, especially with no one to hang out with. I wish we were perfect, but everyone has their flaws. I suppose that's what makes us human. Anyway, this is a great poem, keep it up! |
