I really really like it... until the last sentence. "Slashed wrists thinking emo." It seems so... idk low? Falling to societies slang. The rest of your poem doesn't have such common termonology and such. I dont know. But other than that, I enjoyed it. :]

The last line caught me off guard. The poem put me on a bittersweet tropical island, then suddenly turned in a different direction. Actually, I felt I could relate to the poem throughout most of it. I enjoyed it overall.
