Even though they were short, you really managed to put a lot of emotion into each one of them, in a simple, yet meaningful way! This is a style similar to haiku. Short lines and few of them and with an important message behind the words. Keep at it! You're good at short poems! I agree with the idea of submitting them all as one story.
