My mother is an alcoholic and my dad smokes. Ha, that's funny how this poem could have come from mouth. But it doesn't bother me that much. My daddy smokes in the garage so we don't get too much smoke. So it's all good. He's trying to quit. But yeah...Anyways, the poem was nice. And there are no proper ways to write poetry. Just write it however way you want to. It doesn't have to have rhyme or actually form thanks to free verse. So don't worry; you did it correctly. =]
