this story has no flow...i can't get hooked...i have read 5 chapters and it does not seem to hook me into the story line as where i would want to find out what happens...its a very good ideal but no flow...u have to make me love your charactors and then take them away to make me feel pain ...and then give them back to make me feel joy...make me feel something...give me emotion...not poetry...if your writing poetry make it short and to the point...but this is a story...SO TELL IT...!
Tempre's Twilight 2008-10-19 . chapter 30
Oh my. . . THat was one of the saddest stories I've ever read. Like honestly, I mean, I've taken some angst stories better than that ending, and still I'm crying now.

Just...

Wow...

~T*T~
Wings of Fenrir 2007-08-07 . chapter 30
And yet, those who could remember drown the rain out with the rythm of the fire.

... and in the garden of eden no fires will ever rage... no rain ever need fall... but a gentle breeze now blows from the west, awaiting when earth turns to earth.

A name is whispered upon the wind. Can you hear it?
aferdeity 2007-07-16 . chapter 30
well I understand your explantion of the prologue, but not the prologue in itself. UUm no I am not a native speaker. y firt language is protugese but I hve lived in the united states since I was five years old so I have a much better grasp of the english language. I think you created an air of poetic license in your story that made that [articular part hard to understand. It was in escence almost a free verse poem so maybe I siply need to explore the meaning of it better. I really hate not understanding things. It makes me feel stupid and inferior... It is like when you are in literature and these stupid people who's idea of reading a book is skiming through a tabloid ask the most for lack of a better word stupid questions. Truky some people's purpose in life is mearly to take up space. Anyways, I still love your story. It has very pretty language that most authors on this site tend to leave out. Many times an author gets too caught up in grammatical eficiency and a clear voice, and eds up with a mechanic peice with otherwise no value expet for maybe the plot. Though you soetimes come across some snags in your english (which can be expected when it is not our first language) it does not take away from the beauty of the peice. Soething that authers many time forget... writting is an art.

To be honest, I didn't exspect a happy ending, so I wasn't exactly surprised. (You're not much of a happy ending person, right?) But I still think it's very sad and dramatic. And I'm sad the story is already over.
I hope you translate more of your stories soon.
Sysi 2007-07-13 . chapter 30
*crying* It ended! *cries some more* It didn't have a happy ending! *cries even more* It had a good sad ending! *grin*

Seriously, even if I would have liked to see En'dar and Avendis getting each other and living happily ever after and so on, this sort of ending was good, too. Especially since you can actually pull it off. Judging based on Three Days and SotR, you really have some kind of deeper understanding on how to successfully end a story.

PS. You may want to check if that should be "word" or "world" that ended in the end of the second last chapter.

PPS. Thanks a lot for emphasizing the fact that the theme song doesn't need to be downloaded... -__-'

T_T Oh, it's so sad. :( It reminds me of the ending in 3Days. Damn, i'm almost crying.
The only thing that saved me from the sorrow of all of this is my father calling me to clean after the cat at the saddest moment. XD SO no humorous stuff was needed. But about the eye and homophob that was fun. ^_^ I also thought about the latter. XD

All in all this is a very beautiful story, it does end sadly, but it's not that sad, compared to 3 Days, at least this one had moments of happiness. And although very sad, the end is also very beautiful. As the whole story is. It has that essence of a legend.
I'm very curious of what you have thought. ^_~

With my whole dislike fro bad ends, i still love all of your stories, so beautiful! T_T

P.S. if i were to find myself at Avedis' place that's what i'd do: right after slaying En'dar i'd kill myself with the same sword! That'd make us die together and so it'd end happy. ^_^ (geez, i have a strange idea about what happy end must be like. XD). Nonetheless, this end is good, sad, but good, though i never guessed that it would be like this.

The mass suicide is really dramatic, and pointing out that it's mostly practical to the kairharr is a nice touch. If this is the beginning of the last battle, then I can barely wait for the battle itself. ;D

Last chapters (number 26, I think) end, in which there was first En'dar and Avendis discussing their views on world and then one Sentence and then more discussion and then another Sentence... It was great and helped a lot to build up the tension before the battle.

I just hope you manage to translate the rest of the second book before August so I can read it in whole when I come back. =D Translate/Write diligently! ...and remember to update, too! XD (Look who's talking... :coughcough:)
Zlukaka 2007-07-12 . chapter 27
Oh-oh-oh! How many more to come?
It's getting extremely exciting!
The mass suicide was extremely impressive as well as the elements acting description!
You have a talent in writing and i think i told you this before. ;)
Zlukaka 2007-07-12 . chapter 26
OMG it's like watching a slowly downloading video! You get to the most interesting moment and then it stops for some time! Is there hope? Or is there not? May i even hope for a more or less happy ending?
Are my guesses of who woke up right or will the up-coming chapters make me regret that i got this hopeful feelings?

Can't wait to read the rest of the story! =O
What more awaits the Demon and the Hunter?

My questions are waiting your answers in story-telling form. ;)
Zlukaka 2007-07-12 . chapter 25
I'm most excited now! Where are the hunters? *looks around worried* Goddamn it, as soon as i'm finished with my trades i'll be drawing something to this story! Perhaps a Ryadarr or Kairharr or a character, i dunno yet, but damn i just feel i have to! :D
Aeshtarai 2007-07-11 . chapter 23
Thanks for the new chapter :)
Zlukaka 2007-07-11 . chapter 23
Now what can i say? Brilliant! =) Great job on the descriptions and the people are pretty annoying anyone would love to get out of there! :) And there were those hot moments. Yummi! =3
Can't wait to read even more!
And oh, such an intrigueing end. ;D
Naughty, naughty those 2! =)
Sysi 2007-07-11 . chapter 23
Awwz, baby fire has grown up! ^^ It's bigger, nastier and more sadistic than ever before! XD Lucky En'dar...

"Heh, then I believe we do have something in common after all." --That made me chuckle. Because it's just not something you are supposed to think when you are scared witless and trying to appear confident. (And poor Avendis! It looks like he had to use every single method of encouraging a friend to get En'dar to stop cowering and mewling)

So En'dar doesn't call Avendis "mortal" and "mortal one" just as a show of superiority? O.o? On the other hand, has Avendis even once called En'dar by his name? I mean, they exchanged names at some point, right?
Sysi 2007-07-11 . chapter 22
Hey, update soon okay? I'm too tired to puzzle out myself what En'dar is going to offer to the ryadarr. Not that I would have enough brains to actually figure it out, but...

The first book could have been really good even without the second one. It was then just a romance with a tragedic ending, but with the second book the story has gotten an ounce of epic adventure in it. I'm curious to see how you'll continue the story - and whether we'll finally get a happy ending or does En'dar get eaten by reindeer or something equally sad. XD
