I remember you telling me about this chapter when we were trying to decide if Bahlol should have pink hair or not.

Strong hook. I really liked that. Gave me a reason to read on and see what the bad luck shaping his life is. The only criticism I have of the hook is that... it's in PASSIVE TENSE!

WELL I'd be sitting at the edge of my seat right now but since I know about as much about this story as you do I'll only find it exciting when Kellen is introduced in the third or fourth chapter. He's my fav character even if he isn't in the story yet. ^^; It was a really good chapter even if Kellen isn't in it. His twin is just as good I supose.

YES! super powers! am pleased *devilish grin* kiefer is already on my list of awesom characters, and crom isn't far behind. very nice start - catches one's attention and dangles promise of seccrets to be soon revealed in front of the reader's nose. even if they won't actually be revealed until much later.

hope that made a fraction of sense XD
