I absolutely love your story so far (I'm assuming you haven't completed it?) It is really well written and the characters are all believable and intriguing. I'm extremely glad that Amber managed to get away from Jyllia and restore Silver to his original personality and attitued. I'd love to read more about what Amber may do to aid the rest of society with her magic.
I'd love to know how the rest of the story goes (if it's not yet finished) please update again, will you ever add any more? Please do :) !

this is a cool story, but the allusion to japanese culture is a bit off.
if ur going to directly mention kimonos and koi, u may as well use proper names.
there is no L or V in the japanese language for example.
its basically...
ka, ki, ku, ko
(ga, gi, gu, go)
sa, shi, su, so
(za, ji, zu, zo)
and so on.
my suggestion, make allusions to the culture, but dont use the actual words, make ur own up so that they match.
otherwise, ur story rox!

"...and there would King Leo’s body be buried." I think it would work better to say, "King Leo's body would be buried." It feels weird with the "would" out in front.

But then again, the Emperor could just seem nice to Amber because, as he said, they're equals. His servant seemed really nervous.

Very good. You do very well with description and with only giving enough information to keep the reader reading. The pace for the first chapters seems fast.. but chapter oh 13 up level out and move more naturally. Just because its normally done... doesn't mean you need to mess up the future king and queen getting along or even finally falling for each other :) Hope to see more soon. But doesn't this change of behavior seem...sudden? This girl came out of the blue, and the whole physical aspect does seem out of character for him. I hope there's more to it than people are letting on, I was liking Silver.

So Silver had a mysterious illness and now he's acting oddly...maybe some more plots against the royals?

Amber sounds a lot like me. If I've got a book, I'm good to go, especially if there's history involved.

Aww m so is who I think is the father of saphire baby? aww the story is gettin better and better, I saw marie anttoniete the other day and I was wondering (since amber is the same age as she and catalina de medici) there would be no problem with an unconsumated royal mariage? cus it normaly leaded to a hell lot of trouble but (barbaric that they were married so young in my opinion) in fact If I'm rigt marie anttoinete marriage was consumated more tan 5 years afterthe wedding and catalina de medici first marriage was declared void and anuled. dhu!
