It was cute. Slightly weird that a young child would try so hard to deny magic, but the main character did have a nice character voice.

I think it's cute and I like how it's got a sort of open ending.

This was very cute and I liked it a lot , especially the whole baking a cake on a side walk thing ( I got a very funny mental image right there >< ) .
I totally understand about the whole placing a story in a not so popular category , and it sucks . Everyone seems to gravitate towards the fantasy,romance and general , and it's so not fair that everything else gets ignored !
